Will "Kushi," a movie starring Vijay Deverakonda, not be released on film? understand the rationale behind the actor's protest

The expensive movie "Liger," starring South Superstar Vijay Devarakonda, had a dismal box office performance. The film was Vijay's Bollywood debut, and both the producers and the audience had high hopes for it. Expectations weren't met, and the movie didn't succeed in drawing viewers to the theatre. Vijay is currently hard at work filming his new movie, "Kushi," at the same time. But it appears that the new movie is also being overshadowed by the failure of "Liger."

In order to appear alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the upcoming movie "Kushi," Vijay Deverakonda is currently hard at work filming the movie. Its debut single, "Roja Nuvve," was just released and immediately became a fan favourite. Fans of Vijay, however, have recently learned some distressing news.

'Kushi's' release appears to be in jeopardy. The "Liger" distributors held a protest yesterday at the Jubilee Hills Film Chamber in Hyderabad.
According to reports, the distributors and exhibitors of Liger took this action to make up for the losses the movie's failure cost them. The group voiced its disapproval of Vijay Deverakonda. According to reports, Puri Jagannath had asked for six months to compensate the distributors and exhibitors for their losses.

This year's opening day for "Kushi" is September 1. The distributors decided that this was the ideal opportunity to request funding from the "Liger" creators. A protest march allegedly took place in Hyderabad next to Film Chambers, according to the report. The 'Liger' team has not yet responded to the protest, though.

Now it remains to be seen how Vijay Deverakonda will convince the exhibitors to release "Kushi." Speaking of the movie, Shiv Nirman of "Majili" fame directed it. On September 1, 2023, "Kushi" will be released in theatres worldwide in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
