Who is Atiq Ahmed ?

Ahmed's political and criminal activities spanned several decades, and while he had some successes in the political arena, his criminal past eventually caught up with him. Despite winning some elections, he ultimately lost more than he won. The fact that he was being investigated and tried in multiple cases across different states shows the extent of his involvement in criminal activities. His brother Asif also being brought in for questioning suggests that their criminal activities may have been linked. Ultimately, his actions caught up with him and he was brought to justice.
